Had a little time this afternoon so I hit the lake for a few hours. The wind wasn't too bad so I opted to try Martin Creek. Found some fish suspended in an underwater tree. Water was 25 ft. deep and the fish were holding around 17 ft. Toss the jig outside and let it fall back into the limbs....they couldn't stand it! Caught lots of unders but did catch a few quality fish. Today was throw back Thursday so I didn't bother to keep count. Other than a couple jet skis, I had the whole lake to myself.....it was sweet.

Those days that you have the lake to yourself are usually special. Nice work!

The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?

Lake's as clear as I've seen it in a long time.

Thanks guys. The crappie in this lake don't have much girth to them....they are built like bass. If you don't measure them you'll throw a lot of legal fish back in thinking they are dinks. They remind me of a co-worker I had that we called "humming-gator"......an alligator head with a hummingbird azz.
