I was out there a couple weeks ago, and caught several good fish in about 20ft of water. I think the water was about 83-84 degrees. One reactor was still off at that time. I'm betting both are up and running now.

We were there the last two Thursdays with little success. Last Thursday the water temperature was over 90degs! The shallow bite was non-existent. Talked with a fisherman who was drop shotting in 30+ feet of water. He has only boated a fish or two according to him. Good luck...you are going to need it.

I had the same experience as Jobucko. I was there on 6/1 and the water was 90 degrees. Tried the dropshot but couldn't get anything working that day. I think 2 dinks was all we could do.

I fish shallow year round at squaw and have never had a bad day there! Is all the rain putting them in a funk? Last time I was there was the 20th of april and we caught 60 fish, and not a single one came out of anymore than 8ft of water. I have honestly never fished deep at squaw which I know most people do I am just not very good with my electronics frown I'm headed there next Saturday. Lets hope it goes about the same.

Well I have been out twice in the last two weeks. Was catfishing but still did well.

I know in my tin boat the temp gauge maxes out at 100.0 degrees

Big difference between April and July especially with both reactors online now(one was down in April). Good luck though and post your results. thumb

this aint the right kind of cold front for that lake. Lol.

But. If I was going, Id fish as far away from the discharge as possible.

I fished from the bank there last weekend. Fishing was terrible. I usually do pretty well there but I did not even get many bites. Nobody I talked to did well on bass. The catfish guys were still doing ok. The water was 97 degrees. There are lots of small boats cast netting for tilapia and they are doing really well since the tilapia are on the surface gasping for air. If you are looking for bass I would head all the way up the lake as far as you can go.
