Weather system moving into the Gulf. Early forecast is saying it has a very good chance to develop into a tropical storm. To early to forecast where it will go but there is a chance it could hit the middle Texas Coast around Corpus Christi. Forecasters are saying it could be a MAJOR RAIN EVENT and bring between 10 to 15 inches of rain with it. hmmm

Need to pay attention to this one for sure. Would love to see Amistad,Falcon, and Choke get a good helping of rain. banana

Side Note: As for the areas I fish a lot at, they could always use some rain but can do without the flooding! taz

Updated forecast says that the depression has a very good chance on becoming a category one hurricane. Early forecast is saying good chance that the storm will come in at the upper Texas Coast between Beaumont and Cameron Louisiana. Land fall is expected on Saturday. Rainfall amounts can be anywhere from 10 to 20 inches of rain. The storm is a slow moving storm meaning it can stay over an area for a long time dumping a lot of rain. eeks
