A guy wants to sell a Gen 1 Helix Chirp GPS unit with 27 hours on it, but it does not have down or side imaging. Any idea what a decent buy on it would be? Would you mount on the bow or console? I would imagine the bow since you'd like to down and side image while idling around looking at structure.

I’d say about $700-$800. I have seen Helix 10 sonar only for $600 all the time.

That would be good for using with a trolling motor that has a transducer built in....I have a 7inch that does just that...
I would never pay more than 66% for used anything...

He's asking $950 for it with the transducer and head. 66% Jim? I think they were about $2500 new if I remember correctly. Anyone else?

Without DI or SI, I doubt that unit was $2500 new. also, this is a Gen 1 which is two generations behind current technology. I also think 950 is too much, I would say 600-700 range.
