Cool, That's the first report I've ever seen for Falcon. I didn't know they had Rios in there. Thanks for the report.

PS: Look out, now the "Perch Patrol" is going to come on here and tell you that we don't have Perch in Texas. Even though we've told them a million times it's just what we call them in Texas.

Most everyone who fishes Falcon goes after the bass, but looking at those photos, I'll bet there are some trophy class Bluegills and Rio's to be found......Attn. Banker!

Just one more cast!

I just fished falcon over the week end. Saturday on the south end of the. Lake and caught about 30 bluegil 2 white bass 2 bass and a craoppie most of them where big biggest was little short of 10". I fished the north side on Sunday water was pretty muddy but I still caught about 25 bluegill and about 10 Rios biggest bluegill was 9.5 and biggest Rio 8" I think if the water cleans up it will be better fishing . I want to go back there and try again!

Chuck aka Banker Always Fishing along with some of his friends do! hooked

Side Note: As a matter of fact a lot of anglers who post in this section seem to target the sunfish a lot and are getting some awesome results. coolio Also nice fish. Love fishing Falcon. Fished some bass tournaments there over the years.

I heard a new low this week when a fellow fisherman referred to the fish I just caught as a "Bluegill Perch". You will be happy to know I just let it pass without correcting him.
By the way, as an 82 year old native Texan I feel privileged to correct these young whipper snappers when they make a mistake. Just because it is a common error does not make it right..
