Does anyone know of a chatter bait that's sold that has a screw lock function to attach the trailer?

I've used super glue but it gets messy when on water and skirt sticks together.
Thanks

I used to be able to find some little trailer keepers that you stick over the eye of a lure, and they reach down and grab onto the bait. I'll see if I can't find them elsewhere, and I'll link them to you and see if you're interested!

Alright, two things.

First, this is the only thing I could find on amazon. You might be able to rig something up somehow.

Second, here's what I was talking about. I liked these because I could slip them over the eye of the lure before I tie on, and they'd stay well, and reach down and grab onto my trailer on jigs and chatterbaits. I'm sorry I can't find the amazon link. You could probably bend and twist a paper-clip to function the same way as this, honestly. Worked really well for me in the past.

Surely they sell them on some fishing website. Hope this is what you're looking for!

Jackhammer has a good trailer keeper plus its the best action chatterbait there is.

Chatterbaits that do not have the blade directly attached to the jig head are no bueno.

Finch nasty has one. Seems to line up well with the EWG hook they use. Just bought some and need to give em a whirl!

"Chatterbaits" that don't have the blade directly connected to the hook eye are not Chatterbaits, they are just wannabees.

This one thumps harder than any of the others on the market.

This might not work due to the intense action of a chatter bait, but I found that you could place a little mound of "epoxy stick". the plastic stuff that comes in a two color strip or two color cylinder, on the shank of a jig hook or spinnerbait hook it would hold a trailer pretty well.

I use super glue gel. Make sure you put it on a dry hook shank. Trailer will be on there until it rips off. It won't slide down.

tip to keep you trailer on your bladed jig long.....put an oring on the bait before you slide it on, 1/4" works best
