I know this may have been posted but I can’t find it in searching sorry. Is there a course/class that you guys would recommend either in or around Houston or Sam Rayburn?
I want to learn to better use, dial in, and read my lowrance units. If it’s available I’d like to be able to take my boat and learn on my graphs as well.

I believe Clark Rheem and Will Kirkpatric do Lowrance classes/guide trips at Sam Rayburn.

Clark hands down. Half day going in classroom setting other half on the water showing you what you’ve learned.
I can backlash toilet paper.

Personal instruction is the best when learning a skill like using electronics, no lie. That said, the website and Youtube channel of Jonny Schultz www.fishthemoment.com offers literally hours of instruction on reading and using electronics with Google Earth Pro, Navionics charts, simulated graphics, and more. Great stuff on his channel.

There is a gentlemen on Lake Conroe that does this as well. His company is called Fishical Therapy Lake Conroe Guide. I found him on Facebook, his number is 936-697-3803. We haven't used him yet, but plan to soon.

Don’t waste your time or money with Wil Kirkpatrick on Rayburn! Heard nothing but good stuff about Clark Rheem though.

Check out Darold Gleason. He does a class but going out on the water with him will change the way you look at a graph. He is amazing. He guides on Toledo and Sam Rayburn.

Thanks for the recommendations. I really appreciate it as a lot of my business through the years is solely from word of mouth. Unfortunately, my schedule and communications get complicated during the FLW Tour season(Spring/Early Summer) but the season just ended for me for 2019. I am now back to guiding and teach Elite Angler Academy classes on Sam Rayburn until January 2020 when the Tour resumes.
There is a misconception that all I teach is boat electronics. In actuality, I focus on how to utilize resources AND technologies to help you become a better angler with the primary emphasis on teaching you how to go about finding CATCHABLE fish on your own. Depthfinders and GPS units are just one part of the equation. There are a lot of bells and whistles on today's modern units that are way beyond what most anglers really need. At times, they can be extremely daunting. I try to simplify everything you really need to know to be successful as well as try to educate you on how to make better decisions on the water to not just find, but to catch more fish!
Feel free to call or text me for more info or you can message me on the TFF. I can provide references of reputable contributors on the TFF that are also my clients if you would like to speak to someone directly about times spent in the classroom or on the water with me.
