Despite the drastic water level drops as of recent, the bass are extremely shallow and hungry. Son and I went out yesterday from 2:45 until 6:30 and boated 15, with two good ones in the mix, 4lber and one almost 5. Most of the size were 12-14inches, but best 5 went about 13-14lbs. They were biting. Some areas we fished we couldn't even sniff a bite. Key was to stay on windblown banks with bait presence. Caught four on SB's. The rest on watermelon candy baby brush hogs. It was fun with exception of all the frickin ridiculous sized boats and all these ski boats plowing for the surfers, causing tremendous sized waves. I hate that lake on holidays and weekends!

Last weekend all our fish came in 18+ft of water. Deep cranks

Most of the places we fished was zero. We caught everything on one stretch of bank 150 yards long and around a corner.

I went Fri morn and had a similar experience. Zeroed first two spots, tried a 20ft deep rock spot that always produces and nada, went and fished about 8 rocky points and 2 were stacked with 14inchers; I powerpoled down and caught four with the exact same cast on seven casts and broke one off. Went down the bank for 15 mins, nada, came back and caught two more on the way out in the same spot. Fish in about 3 ft of water. Couldnt find any deep fish. Tower bay was nice, pleasure boaters didnt know it was open yet.

Caught about 6-7 today. Another 6-7 whites. All shallow and on a purple creature bait. A couple baby�s on a white square bill. Mainly rocky shores in any tree cover. A few just near rocks. One under the boat ramp dock as people walked around on it. Was a half decent day.
