Lewisville bit us today. Only 12 caught and released before quitting around 10:30. Wind was horrible but not the main problem. Fish just would not bite. Found lots on places we fished but not much that we did worked. Jigs, minnows, "sneak attack", not many bites.
Maybe tomorrow will be better.

I don't mind days like this, as it makes the good and great days feel even better. I just don't want them too often.

Wasnt livescope supposed to fix all this? No. It helps with identification of fish and provides a better insight into their behavior, but no amount electronics can fix lock jaw. It also gives me the best representation of under surface standing timber structure so I can keep my jig just out of limbs reach. Saves a lot of re-tying.
Fishin' to stock Lake Crisco.
