I am going to experiment with moving my trolling motor batteries to the front of the boat... There is plenty of room under my front deck and the boat can handle the weight... What I'm wondering about is can I reuse the existing 6 gauge wire that runs from the transom to the trolling motor now as an extension wire to tie my onboard charger that is at the back of the boat to..hope that made sense.
The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?

Probably, but if you have a 24 volt system and a 2 bank charger you will need more than 2 wires to balance charge. You need 3. The gage can be much lighter than 6.
