beware! of cheap repair. A new power head should cost about $7000.00 + or -. If someone tells you they can fix for cheap. Good Luck!

beware! of cheap repair. A new power head should cost about $7000.00 + or -. If someone tells you they can fix for cheap. Good Luck! Just paid $7,500 with a 2yr warranty for new powerhead. I just got ole' Red through her 20hour breakin period. That was a beating but gotta be done correctly. Good luck, don't settle for the cheapest. I would shy away from any company that will not provide an ext warranty.

Okie poke where did you have the work done? Big Daddy's Boat Repair - Lewisville It's a no frills shop, but they do know their engines. They bought the new powerhead and did all the installation. Very few shops rebuild themselves, anymore. Tell Big John or Garland that I sent you and they'll charge you double, haha.

Just make sure its a shop that knows HPDIs inside and out. Those are some of the trickiest motors ever made.

Little brother scheduled a visit with them... drove up there and dropped off his boat early one morning, picked it up the next. Spent the night in a hotel.
