Fished Fayette from daybreak til 3:00 pm. Fish were biting all day...got maybe 75 and a ton of fat girls. Most fat girls caught in trees, but reed bed bite was good also. All released except 2 that swallowed the hook. Water temp 89-93 degrees. Don't usually measure what I catch, but did a few today just for reference. Had 3 -10 inches or a little better and a ton of 8-9 inchers. This is about half the pics from today...oh yea, the catfish was caught on the 1st cast...new it was going to be a good day... Side Note: Do you think the bite will say good during the hot period of the summer months?

Vogey , those are some great looking fish. Im new to bream fishing and would like to know if you mainly use a drop shot rig and if you do, do you tie the hook directly to the main line or do you use a short drop leader? And by the way l really enjoy reading your posts and seeing those nice fish!
