Main lake points even though we did catch 5 stripers and 4 bass in 4 ft of water two days ago. Happy just to get bit.

only fished it twice...last summer. Caught everything on the south end under docks. Definitely will make a trip back out that way soon.

Send Donald Harper on here a PM. He just worked up a superchip for me for Whitney. My first trip out I caught a bass within a pound of my personal best. Lake can definitely be tough though....
It's only a good cast if you catch a fish... Personal Best: 11.62 lbs

They always biting up the river if it's not blown out from the rain.

They always biting up the river if it's not blown out from the rain. I live here in Somervell County(Glen Rose) and see the Brazos River daily between Granbury and Whitney. The river is finally down and the water is clear again after literally a couple months of high muddy water. Ought to be good up into the river above Whitney.

Fished out there last weekend. We caught a few down by the dam. One thing I saw was a lot of dead fish. We must have seen over a 100.

Small chartreuse white cranks and tx rigs in dark colors. Keep it simple. Fish rock
