Enjoyed the video, nice bluegill. Looks like you were fishing pretty shallow. Most of the sunfish have moved deeper here in south and central texas.

Enjoyed the video, nice bluegill. Looks like you were fishing pretty shallow. Most of the sunfish have moved deeper here in south and central texas. I'm catching some deep along with the crappie but there's still a lot of gills bedding in the shallows.... Thanks...

Man I always have bluegill rod in the boat this time of year. I use that same micro rod but mines is a 7.5 ultra light model with 2lb SOS line. Nothing better than a plate of gills and fries with a cold one chase it down.
