Pic is not real clear but this guy was caught in cast net on Lake Somerville.
Can't say I have ever seen one like this. And several were caught.

Not a great picture and I really need to see the fins extended but based on the information provided it appears to be a Sheepshead Minnow (Cyprinodon variegatus). They are in the pupfish family and can live in both freshwater and saltwater.
