....so, I'm looking for a boarding ladder for my Xpress h20b. Due to the design of the hyperlift hull, there's not much room on the transom to mount a permanent one. The ladder that Xpress typically mounts is too expensive. Any ideas about a good stainless 3 step that might work?

I use one of these. Mounts to your jack plate or directly to your motor bracket.

A ladder is best but I know of a guy that fell out of his boat. He swam to the back and using the trim switch on the side of the motor was able to lift hisself up enough to get back in.

I fell off the bow one time picking up dekes on the north end of Lavon. Fortunately I was able to grab the gunnel on the way and kept the upper third of my body dry. That was the year that Lavon froze over from Lucas road north. I climbed up the motor but it was not easy. I have had a ladder on every boat since. Bad part was I was not finished picking up dekes and then I had to decide how to fast to run when I hit open water.
