Had something similar on my truck. Turned out to be a bad cell in the battery, which was only 14 months old.

Could be a bad cell in the battery. glove box door not closing enough. Bad alternator. Door trigger not working correctly. Vanity mirror light.
Those are things Ive seen that, on a completely stock truck, have been causes for current draw on vehicles Ive worked on.

I know next to nothing about batteries, but would diconnecting it for 4 or 5 days then reconnecting it/trying to start truck isolate the problem to either the battery or the truck?

Have the battery load tested.

battery was fine.. my kid found it really quick.. took his meter and read a small draw of 1.5 amps with "every thing" shut down.... then went to tha fuses.. started with tha only thing not OEM which was tha brake controller (its old).. pulled tha fuse and walla.. so I learned something from tha kid today..... find tha circuit then fine tha device!... practically same thing I got paid for doin' for 50+ years, just not 12v car [censored].... ha, ha.
