Anyone fish it recently? We are heading out early Friday morning launching from Hochatown Park.
I have no idea what is good up there. I can't find any fishing reports.

I was thinking of trying Stripes/Sandies or maybe catfish.... Oops!

Its a great crappie lake, and the channel cat fishing is decent. We catch a few sand bass on the brushpiles while crappie fishing as well. I have never caught a Striper or Hybrid there.

I'm heading up there on the 5th for four days. please report back. I'll be bringing my live bait gear for hybrids as well as crappie gear.

Is that a walleye lake? If so would go for them. Heading up in August.

You won't be too far from Lake Hamilton or Ouchita . 40 lb stripers are prowling the flats mid morning after leaving the break lines around all the islands. Live bait rules. Plz give us a report of your time on the lake .

that sure sounds like fun but I plan to stick around Broken Bow while we are there. Not opposed to a guys trip though to Ouchita at some point..

never touched a wallaye in my life. I would not mind catching a few. Live scope may cut my learning curve down hopefully.

Thank you. Wow, got on the lake yesterday for a cruise. Did not bring poles with us. This lake is beautiful. I'll check some points and humps later for white bass but this lake screams crank baits in coves for large mouth mostly. the underwater elevation change is nothing like Ole Lewisville.
