I took the family up there a month ago and we fished it a couple of days. I searched for catfish intel on the that lake before we went and couldnt find squat. Its not known for Catfishing and I spent pretty much the whole first afternoon just scanning for fish. I was able to find some around the stick ups west of the islands and thats where we caught our cats the next morning. I recommend you bring your crappie rods cuz once you scan that lake your gonna wish you did. We caught 12 cats and 120 crappie and Im no crappie fisherman.

We camped there once years ago.......i caught a 10lb channel cat he was clean as a whistle....the water quality was very good.....we decided to get some minnows and throw out on our small gear with corks...we caught excessive crappie and several that was sauger and some kind of walleye looking fish ....all i know is those fillets were solid white.... we also seen bear....if your camping watch em.....
If it ain't broke don't fix it...but go ahead and work on it anyway.....
