I'm not a fan of the farm raised frozen shrimp.
I prefer gulf shrimp.
What is the brown stuff in the salad?
Where did you get your shrimp? Did they have the heads on? Did you have to peel and devain them?
I stock up when I'm down at the coast and/or buy them when I'm near an HEB that has wild caught gulf shrimp.
My wife peels them and deveins them, like she should since I buy them.
I do her a favor and get them headless as she prefers them that way and I'm nothing if not accomodating.
She will be cooking and serving them in a bit. I'll try to remember to post a pic.
Oh, she will also be making homemade pico de gallo to go on them.
