Can I use this transducer with a generation 1 helix 10 SI. The helix is a SI unit but I know this ducer will only do DI and sonar. Took it from my 597ci hd DI model. Just want to see if I can use the helix 10 with this ducer for a fly in Canada trip. For 2d sonar, I believe you can. Probably for DI also.

You will achieve both 2D and DI with that transducer.

That transducer is tuned for 200/455 kHz 2D sonar, your SI uses 83/200 kHz 2D sonar.
That transducer's DI circuit would connect to the unit's right side SI circuit and give you a DI view and misaligned right side SI. The first general SI units don't have Down Imaging, they have composite DI views created by blending the two SI pulses.
