Was grilling some chicken legs and brat's for the gang. Mama and I had gone Kayaking yesterday, I have like 5 crappie on ice in the Yeti Roadie that I was gonna fillet tonight.

I’ve grilled lots of fish, but not crappie. Gonna have to try that this week. Looks great!

Looks good but I have always fileted the crappie easy to fry and grill. I use a cookie sheet spray the sheet with a "non stick"....lay the crappie filets on the pan can use any seasoning. I use lemon pepper, picante sauce... anything you want. Since the crappie is a soft fish, watch the cooking time and impossible to "turn" We heard of this cooking from a friend that cannot eat
fried fish.... to this method. good luck...

Using the site for a while...this is really great to share fishing ideas and success with others.

I grilled some the other night on grill mats. First time I had tried the mats. It worked great and tasted great.
