Anyone been fishing any of the power plant lakes this summer? I usually seem to steer clear of them during the summer. Do you guys think the fishing is better out there during the winter months?

Sure, I fish Martin Creek year round. I mostly crappie fish now but one of the best bass days I've ever had was on a 4th of July. Of course the fish have to eat year round and they can be a little harder to find in the summer as they look for their comfort zone and bait fish. I don't know that fishing is any better in the winter months but the fish are a little more predictable. I guess that would make for a better bite come to think of it....lol

If you can handle 100 degree water and air temp and like to fish deep they'll still bite.

Only early mornings to throw frogs

When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip!
