I need help. I have the new unit and I haven't found in the book about mounting the black box. Does it need to be protected in a close area ??
I don't think the wires or connections will be a problem.

Thanks.

From Garmin's web site: LiveScope GLS 10 sonar black box

Google IPX7 for a better understanding...
