I have (2) HDS 12 GEN 2s linked together with (1) LSS2 transducer. I'm adding a GEN 3. I believe the gen 3 will work with the LSS2 transducer.
My question is, will the GEN 2 work with a total scan transducer?

I would connect lss-2 transducer to the newer HDS Gen3 and then from that connect other 2 Gen2 units to it by ethernet.

Thanks. No the Totalscan transducer will not work with the Gen-2 unit when directly connected. You could connect it to the Gen-3 unit and share the SS/DS and sonar images via Ethernet with the Gen-2 units.
