Fishing has been pretty steady at FPH. They definetly prefer live shad over anything else I can throw at them. Been kinda a tricky year between raising water levels/rains. Having to search a bit to find the fish but they are there. Some days I find them one place then not the next week. Finding them in 10-20 fow on a regular basis though.

Thanks for the post Clay I haven�t been on the water in a month, to much work. I�m not much into live bait for hybrids, have you run any down riggers or done any long line trolling in the mix.

I have downrigged at least for a few minutes every trip as I�m leaving a very productive area to see if I can pick up a few more fish and have yet to catch them on downriggers this year. Last year they would have been all over it but this year they seem to be more finicky for some reason....enough to where I�m going to leave the downriggers at home and out of my way for a while. I�d be curious how Timmy is doing trolling this year. I know he has had some great trips a few months back but isn�t posting much making me wonder if they arnt going crazy for his artificial bait consistently or �slammin� as he likes to say?? Lol
