Looking for suggestions on which fish finder I should go with. Some information on the type of fishing I do, Im fishing from a kayak so water is about 5 - 50 at the most. Im interested in a unit that has the side imaging feature and a screen size minimum of 7 My budget is up to $600 and Ive looked at the following,

HB Helix 7 g2n
Lowrance Hook2 7x triple shot
Garmin striker plus 7sv
Garmin ECHOMAP plus 73sv (discontinued/clearance)

All of these Ive been able to find around the same price give or take a few dollars. I would like to hear from yall if there are other units out there that I should consider as Ive never owned a fish finder and I want to make the right choice.

Thank you

The Humminbird Helix 7 CHIRP SI GPS G2N is discontinued also.
The Helix 7 CHIRP SI MEGA SI GPS G3N replaced it and is the current model.
Unless you are not planning on linking it to another unit, there is a less expensive version that is not networkable---G2 or G3.

Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N and G4N, 1198c SI, SOLIX 10 SI G3,
Helix 10 MEGA DI+ GPS G3N, SOLIX 12 SI and G3, MEGA 360, MEGA LIVE, RC-1
