Learned on Travis. Used to fish Austin. Never been on Fayette. Only fished Decker once.

So Bastrop for numbers and Georgetown for the bigger ones prespawn/spawn.

I've not fished Decker yet, but need to make a trip out there before its gone.

I wish Georgetown would goto a slot lake like Bastrop.

Hey there, Hopedale. Fancy meeting you here.

Personally I live on Travis, so I fish here most frequently. I do love LBJ, primarily the north part by Kingsland, 32 mi. from the house. I hear the post-flood repair to the Kingsland boat ramp is almost finished. Fayette has also been good to me, but I haven't been there much since I moved from Oak Hill to Spicewood, it's like 105 miles away now. Couple times a year Lance and I go to Falcon and fish with Jimmy Steed.

I went to Picachos and El Salto last month. I'm going back in November. 'Nuff said there.

I really miss Lake Austin from the old days... back in the 90's it was untouchable for quality fish.

Yea, I got the fishing bug. Have not had it since we left Cedar Park. I was 5 minutes from the Jonesbrother park ramps.

Moved on the other side of town and everything, with the exception of Fayette, is 30 to 40 minutes away.

Now, when Travis was dry (2011 to 2015) i really got into fishing Austin.

Tomorrow I'm just going out in the yak. I have to many boxes from bringing the kiddo home from college, in front of the boat.
When I get home the re-arrange those will be top priority. May take the boat out to run it in the afternoon.

You fishing tomorrow?

Probably will make a stab at it. I went to the Narrows yesterday, but I could only spend a couple hours mid-day, so I rode the skunk bus home. I'll most likely cruise my marina, Cat Hollow, tomorrow for a time.

Fished Austin and Travis some when I was kid and lived down there. I liked Stillhouse, Belton, and Buchanan also. Don’t make it down there anymore since dad moved to Granbury but need to make trip and get on some of the lakes I fished as a young un.

Weekends LBJ or some other lake within 5 hours of here
