We began the week on Monday by cancelling our trips due to a 25 MPH North Wind and we're ending the week on Saturday by cancelling again but this time due to 25 MPH South Winds. Richland Chambers is not the place to be with Winds over 20 MPH. No place to hide and catch fish! In between the Winds, we were on the Lake everyday and experienced some tough fishing a couple of days, an OK day or two, and ended the week with both boats getting a box full of quality Whites on Friday. We're still not finding fish consistently on the Main Lake and are having to fish Points and Humps up the Creeks. The Old Roadbed did hold some fish for us a couple of days but then they disappeared late in the week. Reports of some schooling fish on the Flats came in late week but most of the time it was in the late Afternoon and we only fish Mornings. I believe we're not to far away from the Main Lake Summer Top Water bite kicking in gear. Great report lots of useful info. I hope the boom or bust fishing turns around for you to boom boom boom, uses a lot less gas and time that way.
