Can anyone tell me about it. Never been thought I might go check it out any help would be great. Like baits can run I run fast on the lake decent places to start at. Or is it a waste of time

The last time I checked, both ramps at Aquilla were closed.

They opened yesterday I would use dairy hill ramp. But the lake has a lot of trees and stumps the main lake is ok to run but anything beyond the bridge is thick and beyond snake island is about the same.

What he said . Theres an island underwater island in the middle of the lake about hundred yards south of the main point. And lots of underwater humps west of it around the island. Its open and deep around the pump house . I like fishing the grass in front of the dam

I was at the ramp Wed. and it is open and the water looks great. I plan on going there next week.

Knew it had reeds by dam but didnt know it had grass . Been years since I fished it was a very good lake in the mid eighties and early nineties. Last few time I went it was muddy and fishing was terrible. May try again soon. J D

I seen hydrilla about 10 years ago but it doesnt grow consistantly out there

There are pockets if grass in a few places. But rare. Went this morning water was murky both arms and getting worse with the wind Fishing was ok big fish was 5 ish

I guess the grass is gone . I havent been there in 5 years so somebody probably ate the grass . Thats disappointing . Ill stay clear

Last few time I went it was muddy and fishing was terrible.
Thats about it now, even the other mudholes in the area bass fish better than that lake.
