Still good fishing at South Lake in farmersville? I used to go there when I had a small boat and lived in the area.

Has anyone been to Purtis Creek lately? We used to go up there with small boats from College Station and smash em, but I know TPWD has been jacking with the grass few years ago

Lake Clark in Ennis. On a calm day, you could cover the whole lake with trolling motor.

Are you legal with your registration? Yes. I used to go launch at Chandler's Landing on Ray Hubbard and just whack the snot out of the fish there in the marina. Or there's my favorite..... www.privatewaterfishing.com

If its small enough to handle without a boat ramp (and not fiberglass) go on over to Grapevine and find a spot close enough to drop and carry/drag to the water and get after them in the flooded trees and brush.

Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin is a no-gas-motor lake, but lots of good fish are taken there by guys with kayaks and pond prowler-style boats. Urban fishing at it's finest.
