My family and I will be spending Father's Day weekend in Bridge City... I'm going to bring some rods and reels and little tackle so my boys and I can fish a little bit... Is there any spots somebody would recommend we could access?... Or possibly some current information on what's going on in the area besides a lot of freshwater roflmao... We will have typical medium/ medium light spinning tackle, popping corks, gulp.... And I'll be bringing something to keep shrimp alive in... Feel free to p.m. me with any top secret information fish Thanks.

The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?

Capt Lindy on here posted that they are catching reds up north on Sabine in the mouths of bayous. I have no idea on wading or bank spots though.

Paste to Google Maps
29.987769, -93.845729 Reds, Drum, Flounder
29.928113, -93.871571 Specs All along this North West Side of Sabine Lake

Those would be closest options to Bridge City. I have not waded these areas but I have seen folks bank fishing and catching.
