Anyone know where I can mind a map of water depths for the area around Corpus/Flourbluff/Packery? Want to identify if I would rather take a bay boat or kayak to certain spots.

I think you can still buy these at BPS/Cabela's, and Academy.

Navigating is pretty simple. Dark bottom, you can run through, white bottom, stay away.
Wave height dictates water depth, if it's a six inch wave, it's a foot deep.
Good news, you'll see everything before you hit it. Bad news, no MAP will help.

Best is just to review Google Earth imagery... There are lots of areas that a V bottom boat with no tunnel would not navigate (you'll park it) with dark bottom.... just saying. Flats boat with tunnel, probably ok. I agree with Pat that no map will help... they just arn't that accurate. Best practice, know the running depth of your rig, know what that looks like on the water, When in doubt come off plane before the unknown depth and idle in.

Thanks for all the input fellas. I have a tunnel hull but haven't tested to see how shallow its gets, however, previous owner told me he had it on 6-12 inches before. I usually use my kayak just be sure.

A proper setup tunnel hull can run through 6-8" of water without a problem. You can't float that shallow but you can go.
So, you pay attention where you're going. Waves tell you how deep it is, and a shiny white bottom will also tell you to stay away.

You can run in some real muck if you're setup correctly. This is sort of a trick video, the mud is real soupy, more like a milkshake. If you keep your wits with you and don't get in a big hurry, the tunnel will squeegy the water out of the mud, and you can go.

That video gave me anxiety lol. I assume his propeller was near top of the water.

Prop is above the bottom of the hull. Thats what the tunnel does is pull the water up so the prop runs above the water level.
