looking for best ways to cook a mess of crappie, filleted them today but there is still skin on one side, couldnt figured out how to get the second side off. Any suggestions?

1/2 bread crumbs, 1/2 cracker meal. Salt and pepper to taste. Use a milk/egg dredge to hold breading on. Peanut oil at 350° till they begin to float.

Guy, I hope that's not how you clean your fish, that would take a long time to clean 25, 50, or 75 that way. There is a much faster water way.

ended up grilling the first batch, used some salt, pepper, lemon with some onion powder and soy sauce inside some foil at 350. pretty cool, would like it more crispy though

regular old corn meal seasoned with salt and pepper is hard to beat. i fry in crisco if possible.

No, I posted that just to show him how to get the skin off if you already filet it. I use electric knife, and I don’t do it while the fish is still wiggling, that is kinda disturbing lol.
