It’s looks the same here-These were caught in Offatts Bayou in Galveston. I had to run south for some salt. Chocolate looks like the Trinity River right now. Going to be awhile before it’s somewhat clean.

Many years ago, we used to fish down in Port Mansfield a couple times/year during the summer. Our host had some lures they called "hooters". Hooters were a 1/4 oz. white jig head with a light wire hook and a red soft plastic about 2" long. It was flat on one end and pointed on the other. This was in the late 80's and I've never been able to find those baits, since. I think Norton made them. That bait was the ORIGINAL Ned Rig can caught the heck out of specks, reds and flounder. Even caught an American Pompano on it.

Yes. Drew’s Craw color-I chose that one because it resembles a Brown Shrimp.

Using a 1/6th oz. HD Ned Jig

Sounded like a winner- My go to was a 4” or smaller finesse worm on a 1/8th jighead fishing for Bass when I resided in the Hill country years ago. We used to use a single speck rig jig for Flounder back in the 80”s too.
