Still rockin. Is that even North Texas? I tried numerous locations this last weekend and found nothing but mud, more mud and stained muddy water.

Is that even North Texas? I tried numerous locations this last weekend and found nothing but mud, more mud and stained muddy water. East Texas. Fishing a spillway creek with fresh flow. Water is pretty clear right now. With less rain turns more stagnant and muddy late in the season. Early season can be great fun and even affords sight fishing for carp at times.

Should add that I love the compact rod so much I ordered another in the 3lb test curve. Great fun, and compactability for travel in a true carp rod.
