It has been noticed that there are Rio Grande Perch in our 12-14 acre pond.

Birds would have introduced them. I imagine they have been there for some time.

I hope the bass are feasting on them.

Does anyone know if these perch good to eat?

Rio Grande Cichlids are good to eat. During this time of year a lot of Rios develop a rash on their bodies. Usually do not eat the ones that have the rash. I personally do not eat Rios but have friends who do. They say Rios taste good! thumb

Side Note: Good fighting fish on an ultralight. boxing
