Fished 2 days at Tawakoni! Checked 4 areas each day. Caught fish in all of them. Shad were all over the ramp so I couldnt help but net a few to try them out. They def catch hybrids and sand bass early morning. After seeing all the guides and clients catching with shad and splashers I decided to move on. Jigging chartreuse RSR minnow slabs over sand bass worked really well both days. Even got my brother out there on some fish as well. Now back to west Texas for work to fund the next round of fishing.

Hopefully I can find some graph pics like that on Canyon this weekend. Thinking about going either Friday or Saturday.
Not sure how often you fish Tawak, but be prepared to make that your new home lake wink

The fishing is the only thing I miss from living up that way.

I wasn't too far from there so will try it next time. Can you throw right beside pillars without getting your net caught on anything. I appreciate the info again.

I could see the bait right at the surface next too the pillars. 10ft of water. One throw and 50 baits. Didnt get stuck and had plenty of bait.

Nice to have a post with helpful info and pictures without everything blurred out. Everybody has to start new and learn the basics before putting in their own time to become successful. Thx again Southtxangler22.

I have helped plenty of people on this forum. There are plenty of people on here that make similar comments. I see them almost every time I am on here. I take it you do not like my Ford comments. Are you one of those diehard F150 owners?

Oh I know there are plenty of stupida$$ comments on here. But hey, if everybody else is doing it then I guess you should too. I don't get y'all at all, but I'm sure it amuses you. Sure not the old TFF....I guess it's been taken over by the Millennials.
