If your looking for a hole lot of fun and you like to catch bream on the fly and if you live not to far from Gilmer Lake we had a trip over there last Tuesday and for four hours it was non stop lots of little ones and some up to 8" on our 1wt with custom SS spider. the bigger fish came from 3 to 7 feet of water. Lots of litter one in 2 to 3 feet.

sunfish on Lake O the Pines and Lake Gilmer this has been good from 6am-10am after that they are heading to deeper water, been catching then in 3-5 feet.
our trips in the summer are only 4 hours.

I go past that lake when I am headed to my lease and wondered about the fishing. I am gonna bring my fly stuff next trip.
If you want to run with the big dogs you gotta get off the porch.

We do offer Guided Fly Fishing trip on 5 Lake in East Texas for All species, but mainly Bass,Bream and Crappie.
