There was a major flood in October 2019 many places lost their docks and boat houses I would imagine some places may be trying to charge extra to recoup from their losses.

We stay at Heart of Texas Lodge every year. Not super fancy but clean and they have a ramp and slips. It is up the Colorado arm so kinda of a run to the main lake
