Anybody watch this one? I thought it was pretty good and it made me follow the F1 stuff a little closer (and drive a little faster). Those guys are some dang good drivers. May even try to go to the race in Austin this November to see it in person

Very fascinating documentary

The engineering and money that goes into an F1 car makes NASCAR and Indy cars look like go karts.

Very intense competition and envy among the drivers too. Lots of big egos involved.

I highly recommend the documentary Senna which is about F1 driver Ayrton Senna, one of Brazils most famous sports idols. It really exposes how sordid F1 racing can be

Senna, the movie was fascinating. I try to watch or read everything I can about F1, especially the early years. I would also recommend, if you can find it, a film called Grand Prix: The Killer Years. I thought it helped me understand the drivers and what motivated them in the deadliest years of the racing series.

It's definitely a big deal with big money involved. Never realized all of what goes into since it doesn't get as much attention in the US but this documentary may change that a little bit.

And I have Senna on my watch list so I will definitely be giving it a watch soon

I highly recommend seeing a race at COTA. Those foreigners are serious about F1. Working at that track for big events, Ive gotten to know some of the fans who return year after year. Ive been fortunate enough to meet several retired F1 drivers, and they love that track. When I met Mario Andretti, I asked him what his thoughts were on how nascar would do if they were ever to race on that track, and he said that it would be a blast, would make Watkins glen and Sonoma look like Sunday drives.

Well I watched Senna tonight and it was a great documentary. It was eye opening for sure. Hate that it ended the way it did but Im sure theyve learned a lot from all that happened

I loved the formula 1 show on Netflix. the on board views through the Monaco Grand Prix were awesome. It is insane how close they get to each corner and how quick each turn comes up on the drivers.

We went to a team building event at K1 go-karts in Houston right after I finished watching the series. Electric go carts that go 45 MPH in a indoor track was an absolute blast.

A bunch of us from work did the go-carts, 2 guys puked in their helmets which made it even more spectacular.
