Launched from Oak Cove around 6:30 and went on the hunt. 4 hours later still hunting. Went all over the South and East part of the lake. Caught more at Pelican than any other spot. Never saw any top water at all. At one point joined the boat show off the flats. If you had shad you were catching if not may get one or two. Did manage one legal hybrid. around noon we were working working our way beck towards the boat ramp and decided to stop at one more hump. BINGO. We caught three times as many fish the last hour than we did all day, all on slabs and flys in 20 fow. I don't know if it was the time of day, location or just dumb luck but we ended the day with a big bang. Awesome job! Some days they are tougher than others. The weather has had them a bit irregular to pattern. Some days they jump in the boat and others they run from it.

I went over Monday from 3 to 7 PM and could not find a concentration. Only caught 8 whites and a 22 inch hybrid.
