Great advice and good info. You may want to get in a better light situation or use some heavy braid and flouro so we can see the knot a little better. I don't know about most guys here, but I am having a little bit of trouble seeing exactly what you're doing with both lines. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks James. Just tried it and it does seem easy to tie and small enough to slide through the guides. Going to use it. thumb

James, I really like your logic on the junction knot "not" being an issue (owing to your long leader length) with fish up next to the boat where things can get dicey.

If you are ever down on Lake Athens, I'll show you the proper hand and finger technique to tie an Alberto knot. Hint: Best fishing knot tying technique usually leaves index fingers and thumbs free on both hands to pass line back and forth.

I use 9 wraps away, 3 back and out . . . but everyone has a favorite count here, for sure!

I'm going to try your long leader!!!

Cheers! Brad
