I am getting ready to update my fish finder to the new gn3 my question is the display pixel matrix. Is there much difference between the 1024 x 600and the 1280 x 800? Right now i have a helix 9 si gn1. Would it be better to get the helix 12 mega si gn3 or the solix 10 mega G2?

You did not ask a question with a simple answer since you stated two different size units and two different series units.
You would have to determine what is "better" for you.
