Been tearing them up on Athens. Put the tube out yesterday and took over 100 fish. They bit like rabid rattlers. Most were 5 to 8 inches but I took at least 15 like the pics below. Used my standard rig of an unpainted jig head and a piece of crawler. All fish including one small bass were released to fight another day. I sure love having the summer off! If you ain't busy you need to come to Athens and hit this lake now! cheers Y'all

Biguns...Cool towel with ruler...where did u get that ? Actually that isn't a towel. It is called a stripping basket. Float tubes have them so if an angler is flyfishing they can strip the line onto it and the line can't get tangled around their legs. Basically it is a mesh plarform and they all have a ruler on them. Room is limited on a tube and this eliminate having to carry a tape.

Flags you have been putting some good time on the water. As always yet another solid post with some solid fish.

Thanks for sharing your photos, Flags. Were you catching them under the boat houses or out in the open? I'm also interested in your tube set up. Do you have a model preference? Do you wear waders and/or life jacket? What type of flippers do you prefer?
