 Caddo Lake, how’s the fishing and water level?

Wanting to take the wife this weekend. How is the water level and fishing.
Tips? Lures, patterns? Haven’t been there in 20 years.

More than likely it's flooded. Pines is dumping alot of water into the Big Cypress.

Water is still kinda high for this time of year. Take a flipping stick and cover water. Windy stuff has been better then non windy. Current is better then no current. Fish are starting to school also if u find bait fish. I’ve been hammering them around bream beds mostly. I caught 28 googleyes Monday. Think between Friday thru Monday we had over 60 of them. Junebug is the key color also
