Hey Folks. . . I usually stay close to home, and fish Ray Hubbard. Occasionally making it too Lavon. I have decided to fish Lake Fork for the first time tomorrow. I will be driving to Fork tomorrow morning from Dallas. The wind is supposed to be low, so my 15' flat bottom jon boat will be able to get out on the big water. I need suggestions for the best ramp coming in from Dallas, and the best ramp to get me close to some good fish. My boat only has a 20hp engine, so it takes me a while to get to places. Also, any hints on where to begin on that lake would be appreciated.
Thanks. . .

I'm sure you'll get more replies but I've always noticed a lot of anglers fishing the 515 bridge. You can use the public ramp off FM 17 or go a hair further down and use Lake Fork Resort. Good luck!

Thanks a bunch. That ramp looks easy to get to for me.

You can put in at the public boat ramp on hwy 154 and be fishing under the bridge about 100yds or so from the ramp.
