The water has been absolutely perfect. Good clarity, hanging around 78-80 degrees. There are baitfish absolutely everywhere. Timber fishing is the absolute best way to catch big fish on this lake and right now its on. Ill be honest, I absolutely cannot catch a keeper crappie with a minnow on right now. I have been catching all of my fish on black and chartreuse jigs. They absolutely hammer it on the way down. Some days theyre 6 ft down and some days theyre 15 ft down. Its the best time of year to catch numbers and weve limited with 50 or 75 the last week or so.if youd like to book a trip for June or July, send me a message and we can get it set up!
