Apparently I never seem excited about the fish I catch, and someone pointed that out last time I posted. So I gave it an effort to smile this time. I took a scale with me to weigh fish and see how accurate I was at guessing weights. So, I've weighed this guy and know his weight down to the hundredth of a pound. Go ahead and guess! Sorry for the late reply! I was fishing all day Thursday, trying to catch crappie. Ended catching just about everything BUT crappie... But that's how it goes. I had a blast regardless.
The fish weighed 5.44 pounds! Y'all were all really close. Granted, the little clip that goes on the scale I use (I don't like punching a hook through their mouth) probably weighs about an ounce or two.
