 How Much Line on Reel? ? ?

Hey Folks. . . How much line do you put on your reels. On my bait cast reels, I put as much as I can to give a smoother cast, and a quicker reel. Is it necessary to completely fill your reel with line on a spin cast reel for crappie fishing? thats prob ok for fishing the slips but id fill it on up for smoother longer casting. just dont over fill or you will get ball off's at the cast. where a big tangle wad comes off at once. you wont get that as bad with braid like you have on as you will with mono.

 If I remember correctly from[ stren line ] apprx 1/8 in. from edge of spool.

With spinning reels, underfilling is much better than overfilling.
